Machine Operator 2nd Shift
What You'll Get to Do
Job responsibilities include:
Verify process output is within specified quality limits and make adjustments and/or communicate when outside allowable limits.
Executes, interprets, records, and properly responds to inspections and test results.
Responsible for isolating and/or rejecting materials out of specification.
Assures transactions (i.e. production, rejects, inventory, work hours, etc.) are accurately recorded.
Assists in shift preparation, directing personnel, and shut-down or hand-off at end of shift.
Ensure all process equipment is controlled and maintained to accepted standards.
Actively participate in the Toyota Production System (TPS) activities.
Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products

Good time management skills; able to think ahead while completing tasks at hand.
Stable personality to assist in training employees and confidently direct co-workers with respect.
Punctual and excellent attendance
Be available for overtime and emergency work
