About the Role

Great FP&A doesn't just report the numbers – it changes the decisions that get made. We're looking for a senior FP&A professional to be the strategic finance partner for our Sales, Revenue, Product, and Operations leaders. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for your assigned functions, moving well past transactional finance work into the room where headcount, investment, and pipeline decisions actually get made. Please note this is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days in office each week.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Finance partner for assigned business functions, building trusted relationships with department leaders and directly influencing decisions

Own budgeting and rolling forecast processes for assigned business areas, building financial models and scenario analyses that surface risk and opportunity early

Partner with Revenue leadership on sales planning and performance tracking, monitoring bookings, pipeline health, AE productivity, and close rates

Build business cases for new investments and organizational changes, and support executive presentations and strategic planning exercises

Partner on headcount planning and resource allocation across the business

Lead cross-functional projects spanning Finance, Revenue, Product, Operations, and People, driving alignment without relying on formal authority

Run financial planning processes with minimal oversight, proactively escalating risks and driving automation and process efficiency

At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve

Work closely with Finance and other leadership in our New York, NY HQ several days each week

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience

Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Sales or Revenue leadership on pipeline, bookings, and productivity analysis

Experience working with B2B revenue models and B2B performance metrics

Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario planning, forecasting, and business case development

Track record of operating independently, exercising sound judgment, and influencing outcomes without formal authority

Executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior leaders

Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets

Fluency with AI tools to automate reporting, forecasting, and analytical workflows

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Nice to Have

Background in investment banking, Big 4, or fintech

Experience in a high-growth SaaS or subscription business

Hands-on experience with FP&A tools such as Anaplan, Cube, or Workday

Tableau and SQL

Knowledge of ERP accounting systems

MBA

You'll Thrive Here If You…

You'd rather build the model that answers the question than wait to be handed the question

You want a seat at the table with department leaders, not just a line item to report on

You can hold your own in a room with execs and still roll up your sleeves in a spreadsheet

You default to ownership – you see a gap in a process and you fix it

You're comfortable operating with ambiguity and minimal oversight

You use AI as a working tool, not a novelty

You give and take direct feedback without ego

You want your judgment, not just your output, to matter
