Lead Analyst, Revenue
Founded in 2018 in Dublin, Tines is the intelligent workflow platform trusted by leading organisations like Databricks, Intercom, and McKesson to power their most important workflows. We help teams integrate AI into daily operations safely, in ways that drive real business value.
Reporting to our Senior Director of Data, we're hiring a Lead Analyst, Revenue. Our analyst team's job is to help Tines identify and answer the most important questions that drive the business forward, and this role owns the toughest of those: large, cross-functional strategic questions with a revenue flavour, spanning go-to-market, finance and sometimes product.
You'll be the day-to-day analytical partner to go-to-market (RevOps and sales) and finance leadership on these questions. As a senior individual contributor, you'll also help programme manage and prioritise analytical work across the wider analyst team (triage, tracking, prioritisation).
Our ideal candidate has spent time in fast-growing B2B SaaS and understands how these businesses make money, ideally including consumption-based revenue models. You're as comfortable in a model as you are in a stakeholder meeting, and you'd rather work the data yourself than hand it off. You care about the craft of good analysis and you're curious about where AI can take repetitive work off your plate.
Ideally you can get to our Dublin office around once a week.
Responsibilities
Own Tines' most complex, cross-functional revenue questions end to end, and help shape and drive our strategy to grow and expand revenue
Act as the day-to-day analytical partner to go-to-market (RevOps and sales) and finance leadership on these questions
As a senior individual contributor, help programme manage and prioritise the analyst team's workstreams (triage, tracking, prioritisation, connecting the dots) without directing them
Work with our data engineering team on requirements, data models and data quality
Build repeatable processes and use AI and automation to cut mechanical work
Translate open-ended revenue questions into work you can deliver, and present the results to senior stakeholders
Experience/Requirements
Must Have:
8+ years in analytics
Hands-on analytical skill: SQL, data modelling, and building analysis you'd be happy to defend
Track record owning ambiguous strategic problems end to end through a cycle of stakeholder conversations and your own analysis
Commercial and strategic instinct, particularly around revenue growth: pipeline, forecasting, go-to-market strategy
Strong prioritisation and programme management across several workstreams, without a managerial mandate
Able to tailor communication (written and oral) appropriately to different audiences, technical/non-technical, of different seniority
Comfortable with ambiguity and a bias towards action
Uses AI in their own work and understands where its judgement breaks down. Encodes context so outputs are reliable rather than plausible-but-wrong
Encodes hard-won context into durable structure (documentation, frameworks, semantic layers, reusable models) rather than leaving it as tribal knowledge
Cross-functional by default. Comfortable owning a problem outright or acting as the analytical brain behind a senior owner, and pushes back on briefs that are framed wrongly
Based in Ireland
Nice to Have:
Experience analysing consumption-based revenue models
Experience supporting a product launch commercially
Familiarity with our stack: Snowflake, dbt, Omni, Salesforce, AWS
Experience working alongside a data engineering function
Formal programme management experience
