L1 IT Technician

The role

We are looking for the Data Center IT Technician to join our team. You will work in the data center with the modern H200 GPU cloud cluster, support IT infrastructure, and solve the IT hardware issues.

You’re welcome to work in our colocation in Keflavík, Iceland.

Your responsibilities will include:

Solving issues with IT hardware and supporting IT infrastructure in data centers.

Collaborating with related departments and external contractors.

Installing/upgrading/dismantling hardware by request.

Commutating fiber optic and patch cords.

Planning and processing regular IT tasks for IT infrastructure.

RMA processing following manual.

Writing manuals for working with hardware.

We expect you to have:

Practical experience in solving server hardware issues.

Knowledge of the principles of the data center, server, and network equipment.

Basic skills working with the Linux operating system and command line.

Experience of working with server IT hardware, enterprise-based network switches, fiber optic.

Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas, lists, graphs).

Strong written and spoken fluency in English.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

Driving license B category

Project planning skills
