The Team

You'll join our Billing & Payments Tribe, responsible for building and maintaining the systems that ensure customers are billed accurately and partners are paid on time.

We are a backend-focused engineering team, primarily developing services using Java and Spring Boot. Our broader technology ecosystem includes:

AWS

Kafka

Angular

SQL and NoSQL databases

This provides opportunities to collaborate across the full stack while deepening your backend engineering expertise.

What You'll Do

Build, enhance, and maintain software services and applications.

Write clean, secure, scalable, and well-tested code.

Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.

Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to turn ideas into customer-facing features.

Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.

Support the delivery of high-quality software through testing and continuous integration practices.

Experiment with new technologies and contribute ideas to improve our products, processes, and engineering standards.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and practical training.

Professional experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Exposure to cloud development and infrastructure concepts, preferably on AWS.

Understanding of:

REST APIs

Databases

Software testing principles

Modern software development practices

Experience using Git and working in collaborative development environments.

Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
