IT Support Engineer

The Role

Stability AI is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide responsive, reliable technical support across our globally distributed organization. You will own day-to-day support requests and core IT processes, including onboarding, device provisioning, access management, endpoint administration, and asset tracking.

The ideal candidate combines strong IT fundamentals with a service-oriented mindset and an interest in emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). You will work independently to resolve technical issues, improve IT operations, and ensure employees have secure, reliable tools.

What You’ll Do

Provide timely technical support across hardware, software, identity, network, and cloud application issues

Own employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning, and application access

Configure, deploy, secure, track, and maintain laptops and other IT equipment

Administer Okta, Google Workspace, Iru / Kandji , and other core workplace systems

Support identity and access management, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS applications

Troubleshoot issues across macOS and Windows environments, with opportunities to support Linux

Maintain accurate asset inventory, access records, operational processes, and IT documentation

Resolve technical issues independently and escalate complex security or infrastructure matters when needed

Support access reviews, compliance initiatives, and incident-response activities

Identify and implement improvements to IT workflows, support processes, and the employee experience

Build basic automations and integrations that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency

Partner with Security, People, Legal, Finance, and Engineering on company-wide initiatives

Evaluate and support emerging technologies, including AI productivity tools, agentic workflows, and MCP integrations

What You’ll Bring

Experience in IT support, desktop support, systems administration, or a related technical role

Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows devices, hardware, software, networking, and cloud applications

Experience administering Google Workspace and device-management tools such as Iru / Kandji, Jamf, or similar platforms

Working knowledge of identity and access management, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS administration

Familiarity with platforms such as Okta, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and GitHub

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently manage issues through resolution

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities

A security-conscious, service-oriented approach to supporting employees

Interest in generative AI, automation, and emerging workplace technologies

Nice to Have

Experience supporting a globally distributed or remote workforce

Familiarity with Linux, AWS, or Google Cloud environments

Experience with APIs, scripting, or workflow automation using Python, JavaScript, or similar tools

Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, asset-management platforms, and knowledge bases

Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, access reviews, or similar compliance activities

Experience working within an AI, machine learning, research, or developer-focused organization

Exposure to internal AI assistants, MCP integrations, or agentic workflows

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000–$120,000 USD, plus equity and benefits. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and the level at which the candidate is hired.
