Role Summary

Harbinger is hiring an IT & Cybersecurity Program Manager to be the operational driver for the IT and Cybersecurity team's roadmap. This person will work side-by-side with the IT & Cybersecurity Director on a daily basis, turning strategy and OKRs into scoped, sequenced, and delivered initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Own the quarterly OKR and project backlog process with the IT Director, scoring, sequencing, and staffing initiatives against team capacity and budget

Drive cross-project initiatives spanning IT Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Operations, keeping scope, timelines, dependencies, and risk visible

Build and run the IT/Cyber change management program end to end

Maintain the reporting and dashboards leadership needs to see program health at a glance

Drive the SOX ITGC, SOC 2, and IPO-readiness security roadmap, including remediation of risk assessment and penetration test findings

Track vulnerability management, access reviews, and vendor risk assessments against SLAs with Cybersecurity

Lead vendor evaluations and system implementations from requirements to go live and beyond

Facilitate planning and resolve cross-team dependencies across IT/Cyber and partner functions (Engineering, Operations, People Ops, Legal, Finance)

Represent IT/Cyber program status to executive, board, and audit stakeholders as needed

Who You Are:

Experience

5+ years in a technical program/project management role within IT and/or Information Security, ideally including at least one SOX/SOC 2 audit cycle or comparable compliance program

Experience running programs in a fast-paced, high-growth or pre-IPO environment strongly preferred

Technical Competencies

Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and security fundamentals (identity/access management, network segmentation, vulnerability management) sufficient to make informed scoping and design tradeoffs

Advanced Jira and Confluence usage: workflows, automation rules, JQL, dashboards, cross-project linking

Familiarity with change management/ITIL practices and SOX ITGC or SOC 2 control frameworks

Comfortable reading vendor documentation, RFP responses, and security assessments critically

Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to translate between technical detail and executive level summary

Strong bias to action and follow-through. Comfortable being the person who drives a decision to closure rather than waiting for one

Trusted, low-ego operator who can work in lockstep with the IT Director as a true partner
