IGA Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Delivery Services team and support a strategic Identity Governance and Administration transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IGA principles, processes, and technologies and will lead the requirements gathering and use case definition for the migration from a legacy IGA platform to Saviynt.
This role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, application owners, security teams, compliance teams, and technical delivery resources. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the current IGA environment, documenting existing processes and requirements, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, and translating business and regulatory needs into clear functional requirements and actionable use cases.
The Business Analyst will help define the future state IGA operating model, including identity lifecycle management, access requests, approval workflows, birthright access, role management, access certifications, segregation of duties, policy enforcement, and audit reporting. The successful candidate will ensure that business requirements are accurately reflected in the Saviynt solution design and that the migration supports the organization’s security, governance, compliance, and operational objectives.

What You’ll Do:
Lead requirements gathering sessions with business, security, compliance, application, and technology stakeholders
Assess and document the current state IGA processes, integrations, workflows, roles, policies, and controls
Define future state business and functional requirements for the Saviynt implementation
Develop detailed use cases, user stories, process flows, business rules, acceptance criteria, and traceability documentation
Identify gaps between the legacy IGA platform and Saviynt capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions
Facilitate decisions related to identity lifecycle management, access requests, approvals, certifications, role management, segregation of duties, and reporting
Partner with solution architects and technical teams to ensure business requirements are correctly translated into solution designs
Support application onboarding by gathering application requirements, access models, entitlement information, ownership details, and approval workflows
Coordinate with stakeholders to validate requirements, review solution designs, and obtain formal approvals
Support data analysis, migration planning, testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing, and implementation readiness
Assist with the development of operating procedures, training materials, governance documentation, and organizational change activities
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and requirement gaps that may affect delivery
Who We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management with a focus on governance, compliance, and lifecycle management.
Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting Identity Governance and Administration programs
Deep understanding of IGA concepts, including joiner, mover, and leaver processes, access requests, provisioning, certifications, role based access control, segregation of duties, and policy enforcement
Experience supporting an IGA platform migration or large scale IGA implementation
Ability to translate complex business, security, and compliance needs into clear functional requirements and use cases
Experience facilitating workshops and working with business leaders, application owners, auditors, security teams, and technical resources
Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting system integration, testing, user acceptance testing, and production readiness activities
Knowledge of identity data, authoritative sources, directories, applications, entitlements, roles, and access models
Hands on experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud or Saviynt Identity Governance and Administration
