HW Testing Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Electronics Test & Hardware Engineer to support the design, development, validation, and integration of electronic test equipment and hardware systems. The role will contribute to the development and production of advanced satellite systems by ensuring reliable testing, verification, and qualification of electronic products and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop electronic hardware for test equipment, validation activities, and testing systems.
· Design, build, and integrate Acceptance and Qualification Racks (RACs) and test benches.
· Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and design files.
· Develop test procedures and support test automation activities.
· Assemble, wire, and integrate electronic systems and test equipment.
· Execute hardware validation, verification, and functional testing activities.
· Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues detected during integration and testing phases.
· Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support industrialization and deployment of new solutions.
· Act as technical liaison with PCB manufacturing and assembly suppliers.
· Identify improvement opportunities and propose technical solutions to optimize products and processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Electronics specialization), Automation & Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic design, hardware validation, testing, or related engineering positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience designing and developing PCBs.
· Experience with test rack, test bench, or similar test system development.
· Experience working with PCB manufacturing and assembly suppliers.
· Experience with test automation and programming for validation activities.
Soft Skills:
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in laboratory and engineering environments.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Good technical communication and documentation skills.
Technology Stack:
· Electronic hardware design tools.
· PCB design and development.
· Test automation tools and programming environments.
· Laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, analyzers, and measurement equipment).
· Electronic schematics and technical documentation.
· Electronic integration, validation, and testing systems.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to work in both office and laboratory environments.
· Ability to use a computer and laboratory equipment for extended periods.
· Ability to assemble, wire, and integrate electronic hardware and test systems.
· Ability to occasionally handle test equipment and electronic components.
