ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a global role at the heart of Tide’s commercial finance team. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the global team on commercial planning, targets, and product economics, and you’ll own commercial finance for Tide’s entire India business: payments, lending, merchant acquiring, insurance, subscriptions, and every product we launch next. You’ll be our finance leader on the ground, moving the business forward, measuring performance, and making sure the numbers keep pace with one of the world’s fastest-growing SME markets. You’ll build deep relationships across the organisation, tell the financial story of India with clarity and conviction, and challenge assumptions when the economics don’t support the plan.

As Head of Commercial Finance, you will:

Own Commercial Finance Across All Products: Build and maintain the unit economics, pricing, and P&L forecasts for every Tide product in India, including payments (UPI and cards), lending, merchant acquiring, insurance, subscriptions, and new launches, managing reforecasts as market and regulatory conditions shift.

Shape Global Commercial Planning: Work with the global commercial finance team on planning and target-setting, then be the person on the ground who turns the plan into execution, driving the business forward and rigorously measuring performance against it.

Partner with Product & Commercial Teams: Act as a direct, data-driven partner to business leaders across every product line, framing revenue impact, pricing models, and P&L forecasts for new features and GTM strategies.

Support Global Member Acquisition: Partner with the global acquisition team to bring the right members into Tide, sharpening CAC, payback, and channel economics for India so growth is both fast and high-quality.

Own Costs, Margins & EBITDA: Ensure accurate costs, gross margins, and EBITDA margins across the India P&L, working closely with India business and operations teams to grow the business quickly and profitably.

Navigate Regulatory Economics: Translate RBI circulars, NPCI guidelines, and regulatory developments across payments, lending, and insurance into direct financial impacts, mapping scenarios and recommending clear strategic positions.

Pioneer AI-Native Finance Ops: Establish the foundational cohort definitions, documentation, and data structures necessary to transition from manual modelling to highly leveraged AI workflows.
