Champion best practice and continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Lending & insurance accounting

Provide technical accounting leadership across Tide’s high-growth lending and insurance businesses;

Own the accounting and provisioning for lending products under IFRS 9, ensuring compliance with accounting standards; and

Partner with Risk and Product teams on the accounting treatment of new lending and insurance propositions.

Audit & tax

Lead the response to external auditors, managing the year-end audit process for India entities;

Lead engagement with tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries; and

Maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.

Stakeholder management & leadership

Prepare and present financial results, technical accounting papers and management information to senior stakeholders;

Lead, coach and develop a team of Financial Controllers, building team capability and technical expertise; and

Represent FRC on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
