Graduate Software Engineer
About the Role
Measure.Monks, the marketing effectiveness division of Monks, is looking for a bright and personable Graduate Software Engineer with experience in Python/FastAPI and React, looking to develop their skills further to support the next phase of our product and software development roadmap and help drive the company towards continued double-digit growth. As a Graduate Software Engineer, your role will be to assist with the development and deployment of our internal and client-facing tools and systems and with the continued evolution of our core analytical approaches, ensuring that they remain market-leading and can plug seamlessly into wider group initiatives
Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance our suite of client-facing tools and solutions
Support our analyst teams to further automate their processes and workflows
Contribute to our AI initiatives as we develop the agentic systems that will power the future of our industry
Work with other development teams in our wider group to ensure that our solutions plug effortlessly into their platforms and systems
About You
The essentials:
Proficient in Python, with experience in writing clean, maintainable code and building real applications. Exposure to core data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) is a bonus
Exposure to Typescript/React and a willingness to learn is highly valuable
Interest in building client-facing web applications – either front-end, back-end or full-stack
Exposure to working with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres would also be a plus but not essential
Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP, would be a strong plus
Curiosity about AI tools and an interest in building agents, using RAGs and working with MCP servers
Interest in working in the marketing analytics sector and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of techniques such as Marketing Mix Modelling to help ground the solutions that you will be building
You are highly driven, dedicated, and have a keen sense of personal responsibility, and are happy working independently and as part of a team on projects and solutions
Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders is a must
