Build interfaces people actually enjoy using.

About the Role

We build production web interfaces for clients, and we care about how they feel, not just whether they work. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you build the React / Next.js interfaces that people rely on every day, with a real eye for detail, accessibility, and performance.

You'll work inside a Monks delivery team, alongside design, product, and backend engineers, owning the experience end users actually touch.

We're all-in on agentic engineering. Tools like Claude Code and Codex are part of our everyday workflow, and we're looking for people who are genuinely fluent working alongside AI coding agents and excited to push those practices further.

Who You Are

Craft-minded: you care about the small details that make an interface feel right.

User-focused: you build for the people using the product, not just the spec.

A pragmatic problem-solver: you balance polish with shipping.

A clear communicator: you work tightly with design and speak up early.

What You'll Do

Build responsive, accessible interfaces in React / Next.js and TypeScript.

Turn designs into clean, reusable, well-structured components.

Integrate with backend APIs and handle real-world states gracefully.

Review code, including AI-generated code, for quality and consistency.

Keep performance and accessibility high across the product.

Collaborate with design, product, and backend to ship end to end.

What You Bring

5+ years in frontend development with strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

Strong modern CSS, responsive layout, and accessibility fundamentals.

Solid component architecture and design-system sensibilities.

Comfortable integrating and debugging against APIs.

Good testing habits.

Strong English communication skills.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment.

Extra Credit

You've built data-dense dashboards or data visualizations.

Real fluency with Figma and design handoff.

Animation and interaction-design chops.

Experience designing UX for AI-powered products.

Open-source work you're proud to link.
