FP&A Analyst
About the Role
Help drive the financial decisions behind world-class customer experiences. As an FP&A Analyst supporting the Customer Experience (CX) organization, you'll partner with leaders across Renewals, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Customer Support to own operating expense and headcount planning for your designated areas.
You'll play a key role as a trusted Finance partner to CX leadership — delivering accurate forecasts, leading recurring reporting processes, and turning financial results into insights that shape real business decisions. The impact is visible: smarter spend, better-informed leaders, and plans the business can actually execute against.
What You'll Do
Own operating expense tracking and reporting across CX, including vendor spend, travel & expense, and personnel costs
Lead headcount planning, hiring alignment, and workforce cost modeling using Pigment, Workday, and other planning tools
Own monthly forecast cycles end to end, with accountability for accuracy and clear communication of the key drivers behind the numbers
Build, maintain, and enhance OpEx and workforce models in Pigment to support planning and scenario analysis
Deliver variance analysis (actuals vs. plan/forecast) and translate results into insights and actionable recommendations
Ensure alignment between actuals, forecast, and budget, resolving discrepancies independently and keeping assumptions consistent across systems and stakeholders
Own recurring CX reporting across expense, headcount, and key operational metrics
Lead preparation of analysis and materials for QBRs and executive updates, including ownership of expense, headcount, and P&L components
Connect financial results to operational drivers such as capacity, utilization, productivity, and cost per resource
Act as a trusted advisor to CX leaders by proactively identifying cost drivers, risks, and opportunities — and challenging assumptions where needed
Leverage NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, Pigment, Hyperion, Concur, and Navan to support planning, reporting, and analysis
What You'll Bring
5–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to independently own models and deliverables
Deep experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Ability to connect financial results to operational drivers and influence business decisions
Experience with planning tools such as Pigment, Hyperion, or similar (e.g., Anaplan), and systems like NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Concur, or Navan
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight timelines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively across teams, regions, and time zones
Bonus Skills
Experience supporting Customer Success, Renewals, Professional Services, or Customer Support organizations
Experience leveraging AI, automation, or workflow technologies to improve efficiency and reporting cycles
