PagerDuty is looking for an FP&A Analyst to support Expense Management. In this role, you'll help deliver analysis and insights on company spend, partnering with Finance leadership and business partners across financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

What you'll do

Support the preparation of monthly budget vs. actual analysis and assist with review sessions with Business Leaders in GTM, R&D, and G&A functions.

Serve as primary liaison with Accounting to support monthly close activities, including purchase order and invoice accruals and reclasses.

Support Corporate FP&A by assisting with the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan processes, identify variance drivers, and contributing to reporting and presentations to executive management and the Board.

Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operating results, providing insights and recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and visibility.

Support the development of financial models and reporting to help meet business partner and leadership needs, including assisting with materials for executive and board-level presentations.

Perform ad-hoc projects, financial analysis, and presentations for senior leadership and executive management as you grow into the role.

Support vendor and platform administration for expense systems.

Help identify opportunities and implement ways to utilize AI and automation to improve processes and tools across expense management and FP&A.

What you'll bring

0-2 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, expense operations, or FP&A.

Familiarity with corporate platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, Pigment) a plus.

Strong Excel/financial modeling skills and comfort working with high volumes of transactional and financial data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
