West Monroe is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our Operations Excellence practice supporting our CIO Advisory team in Costa Rica. Our team helps technology leaders improve operational performance, optimize vendor and sourcing strategies, and deliver business transformation initiatives. In this role, you will support client engagements through research, analysis, project coordination, and the development of client-ready deliverables.

What You’ll Do

Work directly with internal project teams and clients to support technology, operations, and sourcing initiatives.

Support project coordination activities, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, workplans, and follow-up items.

Gather, organize, and analyze business, financial, and operational data to develop client-ready presentations, business cases, and recommendations.

Support vendor evaluation, sourcing, and technology transformation initiatives by organizing project documentation, reviewing RFPs and contracts, and preparing analysis.

Prepare client communications, participate in meetings and workshops, and work with project teams to manage risks and keep engagements on track.

Collaborate with consultants and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.

Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

2–5 years of experience in a team-based environment working directly with external clients and/or internal stakeholders.

Experience in a client service, consulting, technology, operations, finance, procurement, or vendor-related environment preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.

Ability to organize and analyze data using Microsoft Excel.

Experience creating client-facing presentations and communications using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and learn new business topics quickly.

Experience supporting vendor management, sourcing, contracts, RFPs, or technology projects is a plus.

Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.

$39,400—$46,300 USD
