WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and efficient Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the General Counsel of Braze and to the broader Legal team. The General Counsel is based in California and this position will be based in São Paulo, so the role requires consistent working hours to partially overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours/time zone.

This role sits at the center of a public-company legal function. You will have regular exposure to privileged, confidential, pre-public, and material non-public information, and discretion is a core requirement of the job.

Main responsibilities:

Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling for the General Counsel and key legal staff, coordinating across multiple time zones

Support the General Counsel in his capacity as Corporate Secretary, including logistics for Board and committee meetings, coordinating distribution of materials, supporting Board requests, and helping maintain corporate records and calendars

Handle travel booking and expense reporting

Track deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups against the General Counsel's objectives across the Legal team's functional areas

Plan and coordinate departmental events (all-hands meetings, team events, offsites)

Manage unscheduled requests with attention to detail, efficiency, and quality

Perform confidential and complex administrative duties, including preparing and formatting documents

Assist with project coordination and management, new hire onboarding tasks, and other team duties as identified

WHO YOU ARE

Strong experience supporting a senior executive in a fast-paced environment

Fluent written and verbal English fluency, with exceptional communication skills

Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. This role is subject to Braze's insider trading policy and related compliance obligations

Experience leading projects, developing scope, managing schedules, and following up with stakeholders appropriately

Familiarity with productivity and project management tools, and with corporate travel and expense platforms (e.g., Navan, Concur)

Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of personal accountability

You excel at cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless and effective communication

You have a proven track record of success, and are proactive and reliable

Nice to have:

Prior experience supporting a legal, compliance, or corporate secretary function

Prior experience at a publicly traded company
