About the role
We're looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to build, lead, and scale our recruiting function. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll manage and grow a team of Talent Partners, own our end-to-end hiring strategy, and bring the process discipline needed to hire efficiently and predictably as we grow across the organization.
You'll partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to translate business goals into hiring plans, while building the systems, metrics, and playbooks that make recruiting a repeatable, scalable function rather than a series of one-off efforts.
Responsibilities
Hire, coach, and develop a team of Talent Partners; set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and build a strong bench as headcount needs grow.
Design and execute a talent acquisition strategy aligned with company growth plans, hiring forecasts, and workforce planning.
Establish scalable, repeatable recruiting processes — from intake and sourcing through offer and close — including standardized interview kits, scorecards, and hiring manager training.
Own recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source of hire, offer-accept rate, cost-per-hire) and use data to improve process and forecast hiring needs.
Act as a strategic advisor to executives and hiring managers, guiding role scoping, leveling, comp benchmarking, and hiring decisions.
Evaluate and optimize ATS and sourcing tools to increase team efficiency and candidate experience. This includes the use and adoption of AI tools.
Ensure every candidate — hired or not — has a consistent, high-quality experience that reflects Fingerprint's brand and values. Help elevate Fingerprint's presence in the talent market.Aw
Qualifications
10+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years managing and scaling a recruiting team. Strong people leadership skills — you know how to hire, coach, motivate, and grow a team of Talent Partners.
Proven track record building or scaling a TA function, ideally in a high-growth startup or tech environment.
Deeply process-oriented; you've built or improved recruiting workflows, SLAs, and playbooks from the ground up.
Experience recruiting across multiple functions (technical and non-technical) and levels, including senior/executive hires.
Strong command of recruiting metrics and comfort using data to drive decisions and report to leadership.
Hands-on experience with modern ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable operating as a strategic partner to executives.
