Deployment Strategist, Public Sector (Federal & SLED) - North America
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Deployment Strategist, Public Sector, you’ll work alongside Forward Deployed Engineers, Go to Market professionals, Product Engineers and other Strategists to deploy ElevenAgents, our enterprise AI platform, across US federal agencies and state, local and education (SLED) organizations. Your mission is to turn mission needs, legacy workflows and complex stakeholder dynamics into a clear picture of the most important problem, what the product needs, and where the impact is.
No two days are the same, but as a Deployment Strategist you can expect to:
- Work with agency leaders, program offices, prime contractors, state and municipal departments, and school and university systems to find the highest-impact opportunities for AI agents in citizen- and student-facing and operational workflows (e.g. benefits and licensing, 311 and contact centers, case management, admissions and student services, internal service desks).
- Own flagship deals end-to-end: identify the use case, shape the commercial structure alongside GTM and contracts partners, and navigate public sector procurement paths (federal contract vehicles, cooperative contracts, RFPs) through to close.
- Embed with customer teams, including time onsite (in secure facilities for federal work), and own delivery outcomes as if you were part of their team.
- Guide customers on agent design, orchestration, and production readiness, including the security, privacy and compliance requirements specific to each segment, to get agents live and adopted.
- Partner with Forward Deployed Software Engineers and Solution Engineers to build and demo solutions, present to audiences from technical teams to agency heads and elected or appointed officials, and feed field insights back to Product and Research.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. government security clearance for federal engagements.
- 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role with government agencies, a public sector systems integrator, or a government-focused technology company.
- Familiarity with public sector buying and compliance (e.g. GSA schedules, OTAs, FedRAMP and ATO processes, state cooperative contracts, state-level security frameworks, FERPA/CJIS/HIPAA where relevant) and comfort in deal conversations and long enterprise sales cycles with GTM partners.
- Basic Python and API integration skills, enough to prototype, demo and talk credibly with engineering teams, plus familiarity with LLM and AI agent frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of owning ambiguous, complex projects through to delivery.
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in the United States. There is a preference for candidates to be based in Washington, DC. Expect regular travel for customer onsites.
