Demand Generation Manager,Asia
About the Team and Role
Demand generation in ANZ and Southeast Asia isn't a smaller version of the US playbook - it's its own game. Different buying behaviours, different channel mixes, different languages, and a region that spans everything from mature enterprise markets to fast-growing SMB ecosystems. We're looking for a Demand Generation Manager who's energised by that complexity, not intimidated by it.
You'll own integrated campaign execution across the full funnel - SMB through enterprise - for Southeast Asia, working closely with our Head of Demand Generation APAC, to adapt global and regional campaign strategy for local relevance - and to flag when local reality means we should do something different altogether. You'll partner with Brand & Content, Creative Services, Field, BDR, Sales and Partnerships to make sure campaigns don't just run, but actually move pipeline in-region.
This is an individual contributor role. You won't have direct reports, but you'll need the judgement and stakeholder skills of someone who could.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
How You'll Make a Difference
Plan and execute integrated demand generation campaigns across Southeast Asia, spanning paid, organic, lifecycle, field and ABM
Localise and adapt global campaign frameworks for regional relevance - language, buyer behaviour, channel mix, and competitive context differ market to market, and campaigns need to reflect that
Partner with BDR, Sales, field, Partner Marketing and shared services team - Brand & Content, Creative Services, Lifecycle, Product Marketing - to align campaign timing and messaging with regional pipeline goals and account priorities
Work with Brand & Content and Product Marketing to identify where existing assets translate well regionally and where new, locally relevant content is needed
Manage campaign calendars, budgets, and vendor relationships across multiple markets and timezones
Track and report campaign performance by market and channel, with a clear point of view on what's working, what isn't, and why
Build and maintain a regional measurement view in partnership with Marketing Analytics, so decisions are grounded in data rather than assumption
Bring forward recommendations on where regional investment should shift based on results
Establish success criteria that inform resource planning, campaign flighting, and prioritisation across multiple stakeholders
Represent Southeast Asia's needs and constraints in global campaign planning, so strategy isn't built only from a US, EMEA or ANZ lens
Other related duties as assigned
Who You Are
5+ years in demand generation, integrated campaigns, or performance marketing, ideally with experience across Southeast Asia markets
Comfortable owning campaigns end-to-end, from planning through execution to reporting, without a large supporting team
Comfortable self-serving in a lean-resource environment - from copywriting, basic design, case study interviews, to event execution - are part of the job here, not someone else's
Experience managing media budgets - with or without agencies - across multiple markets in Asia, with a clear read on where spend is and isn't working
Working knowledge of the channels and platforms relevant to APAC (regional media partners, local search and social nuances, established martech stack)
Able to read data and turn it into a recommendation, not just a report. Familiarity with Tableau and Salesforce (or equivalent) preferred
Ability to report performance against OKRs/KPIs to executive leadership, translating market-level detail into a regional story
Strong collaborator who can align global and local priorities without treating either as the default answer
Organised enough to manage multiple markets, stakeholders, and timelines at once, and pragmatic about where to flex process versus where to hold the line
Genuinely curious about what makes buyers different in Southeast Asia, and willing to say so when a global template doesn't fit
Comfortable working async across timezones with a Sydney-based manager and a globally distributed marketing team
Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable, with Bahasa Malaysia considered a plus
