We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team and help build reliable, scalable data infrastructure. Your mission is to deliver trustworthy data products and pipelines that connect our warehouse with operational systems, power analytics and reporting, and unlock better decisions across the business. You’ll be hands-on and should be comfortable with SQL, modern data integration tools, and working across diverse data sources. You’ll thrive here if you’re comfortable with some ambiguity, take initiative, and can balance quick wins with long-term reliability. This role reports to the Manager of Data Engineering and partners broadly across the company (Product, Engineering, Security, Data Science, Finance, and go-to-market teams).

Accountability & Impact:
In this role, you’ll…
Build and operate dependable pipelines that move data between our platform, warehouse, and third-party systems—reliably and in both directions when needed.
Improve data accessibility and consistency by reducing silos, aligning definitions, and making reporting and downstream use cases easier to trust.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows that support both analytical and operational needs, from dashboards and metrics to product and customer-facing workflows.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable data solutions.
Raise the bar on data quality with pragmatic testing, validation, and observability.
Document data models, workflows, and standards so others can build with confidence.
Research and experiment with emerging AI tools to improve our workflows, staying current with technologies that move the industry forward
Be comfortable working with modern data engineering tools and quickly picking up new ones as our stack evolves.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and modeling data in modern data warehouses.
Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines (batch and/or incremental).
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data integration tooling.
Understanding of data modeling and warehouse design concepts for analytics.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and a modern data stack.
Ability to troubleshoot data issues end-to-end and improve performance and reliability.
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
Comfort operating with some ambiguity and driving work from problem statement to production.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles.
Nice to Have:
Experience with data modeling and designing data structures for analytical and operational workloads.
Programming skills in Python (or similar) for automation and data processing.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms.
Experience with data quality practices (tests, monitoring, lineage/metadata).
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance considerations.
Experience in HRTech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
