Cybersecurity Project Manager

Project Introduction

The Department of Veterans Affairs Cybersecurity Operations and Services Enterprise (COSE) program delivers the enterprise cybersecurity operations, engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance support that safeguards VA systems, data, and mission delivery. The team helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital services relied on by Veterans, their families, and the VA workforce.

9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to support this program. This position is contingent upon contract award.

L4 – Manager

Responsibilities

Maintain integrated work plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items for cybersecurity workstreams.

Track staffing, labor utilization, deliverable status, and performance measures; prepare concise status reports for program leadership.

Coordinate meetings, capture decisions, manage follow-up actions, and keep project records current.

Support change control, release readiness, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications.

Work with technical leads to translate delivery priorities into executable project plans.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Seven or more years of project control, project management, program operations, or delivery coordination experience.

Experience supporting cybersecurity, IT modernization, cloud, or systems-engineering delivery efforts.

Ability to manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and reporting in a complex, multi-team environment.

Strong organization, written communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Salary Range

$86,896—$125,000 USD
