The CSA Superintendent / Inspector will support the successful execution of civil and structural construction activities by partnering with the QA/QC Manager, Construction Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and city inspectors throughout the inspection and sign-off process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with applicable building codes and ensuring inspection activities are completed efficiently to support project milestones within a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities:

Accompany city inspectors during civil and structural site inspections, including steel and concrete installations.

Review civil and structural engineering drawings and construction details in preparation for scheduled inspections.

Partner with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, and the QA/QC Manager to resolve inspection findings and maintain project schedules.

Coordinate and participate in meetings with subcontractors to address inspection deficiencies and drive timely corrective actions.

Prepare and distribute daily inspection reports and project status updates.

Enter inspection reports, punch lists, and corrective actions into commissioning software for tracking and closure.

Support city inspection activities and facilitate timely project sign-offs by ensuring inspection items are resolved efficiently.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with city inspectors and project stakeholders throughout the construction process.

Support compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and quality standards.

Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required:

Extensive field experience supporting civil and structural construction projects.

Strong knowledge of civil, structural, steel, and concrete construction practices.

Thorough understanding of applicable building codes and inspection processes.

Experience with QA/QC processes and construction quality documentation.

Ability to interpret civil and structural engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience working within mission-critical construction environments.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with inspectors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inspection documentation and reporting.

Proficiency using commissioning or construction management software to document inspections and punch lists.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support timely issue resolution and maintain project schedules.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering preferred.

Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.

Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable

Compensation

Hourly rate: $50 - $60

Per diem: $1500 per week

Per diem is available to employees who maintain a qualifying tax home and incur duplicate living expenses while working away from home, subject to company policy and IRS guidelines. Local candidates are not eligible for per diem.

The pay range shown reflects the minimum and maximum hourly rates the company may offer for this position. The final rate will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.

Hourly Rate

$50—$60 USD

Eligibility for per diem is determined by company policy and is applicable only under specific circumstances, based on job location and travel requirements.

Weekly Per Diem

$1,500—$1,500 USD
