Configuration (DevOps) Engineer
Join as a Configuration (DevOps) Engineer supporting core development teams. Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for C#/.NET and C++ projects across Windows and Linux build agents. While the team collaborates closely, day-to-day you'll typically own your own workstream end-to-end — so a self-driven, autonomous approach matters as much as the technical skill set.
What You’ll Do
Develop, maintain, and monitor build automation systems to ensure seamless software builds and deployments
Write and maintain scripts for infrastructure deployment automation, monitoring, and configuration management
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize build performance across the toolchain
Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production
Document processes, procedures, pipeline architecture, and operational standards to ensure clear communication and continuity
Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth delivery of the product
Proactively drive improvements to CI/CD processes, automation, and reliability; growing into ownership of build/release infrastructure health, security SLAs, and incident response as your scope expands
Technologies You'll Work With
Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines), PowerShell, Python, Bash, Docker, Git, Ansible, NuGet, Conan
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience with a CI/CD system (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar)
Experience automating processes with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
Ability to use REST APIs as a process automation tool
Experience with Windows and/or Unix/Linux administration and scripting (Bash)
Experience with Docker
Experience with Git
Experience with cross-team collaboration
Self-driven and autonomous — comfortable owning your own tasks end-to-end with minimal oversight, and inclined to improve how the work gets done, not just push the current task through
English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of C#, C++
Experience working with monorepositories, managing large build artifacts, and utilizing cross-platform toolchains
Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, etc.)
Experience maintaining RPM repositories
Knowledge of virtualization platforms
Deeper package-manager expertise (e.g., publishing/maintaining NuGet or Conan packages, custom Conan recipes)
Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
What You’ll Get
25 vacation days, 4 sick days, 21 paid medical leave days, plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares
