Compliance Specialist
SRS Acquiom is currently searching for a Compliance Specialist for our Contract Administration team.
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing and analyzing SRS Acquiom’s contractual obligations under the definitive agreements, as it applies to the distribution of transaction consideration and funds.
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for coordinating with various internal departments to ensure all relevant information is received to ensure a timely distribution.
The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, is a self-starter but also capable of working well on a team, can quickly comprehend key provisions of complex agreements, think outside the box to solve problems, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Location: This position is either hybrid out of our Denver, CO office or a fully remote position from within the Continental United States.
If the candidate selected lives within a 20-mile radius of our downtown Denver office, they will be classified as a hybrid employee and beginning September 8, 2026, working one day per week in office is expected. Beginning January 1, 2027, two days per week in office will be expected.
If the candidate selected lives outside a 20-mile radius the Denver office, they will be classified as a fully remote employee and in-person onsite visits to the Denver headquarters will be required on average three times per year.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $75K and $85K, depending on level of experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage and monitor an ongoing portfolio of assigned post-closing releases in our system of record.
Review various transactional agreements and contracts to extract the relevant legal information to complete the distribution of transaction consideration and funds.
Perform thorough analysis to fully understand the post-closing contractual obligations.
Coordinate closely with the Operations Team to create accurate distribution waterfalls and ensure funds are released timely to the right parties.
Prepare the post-closing release materials and work closely with the Compliance Analyst Team on updates to the release materials.
Communicate and collaborate with internal departments.
Facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk and prioritize action.
Accountable for quality, accuracy and timeliness of results.
Manage and help execute special projects as needed.
Deliver training as requested by Management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business, required.
2-5 years’ experience within financial services.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret contracts.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
Takes ownership of issues and follows through to resolution.
Can work independently or as part of a team as the issue requires.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to face off across all levels of an organization and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and fluid environment.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
