Channel Marketing Manager - Fixed Term Contract staring in November 2026.
About the Role
The APJ Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing partner marketing strategies that accelerate partner-sourced pipeline, customer acquisition, partner activation, and revenue growth across Asia Pacific & Japan. This role acts as the bridge between Global Partner Marketing, APJ Channel Leadership, Country Marketing teams, and Partners to ensure regional priorities are effectively translated into scalable, measurable go-to-market programs.
The successful candidate will drive engagement across Veeam's channel ecosystem, including distributors, resellers, VCSPs, service providers, and strategic channel partners, while enabling local teams with programs, campaigns, content, tools, and best practices that support growth objectives.
What You’ll Do
Partner Ecosystem Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the APJ channel marketing strategy aligned to regional revenue and partner growth objectives.
Build annual and quarterly marketing plans supporting key channel motions, including partner recruitment, activation, retention, SaaS adoption, and customer expansion.
Partner closely with APJ Channel Leadership to translate business priorities into scalable marketing initiatives.
Align regional plans with Global Partner Marketing programs while tailoring execution to local market requirements.
Partner Demand Generation
Design and execute integrated partner-led and partner-enabled demand generation campaigns.
Support strategic channel partners with joint marketing plans, co-branded campaigns, events, webinars, executive engagement programs, and digital initiatives.
Drive pipeline creation through MDF/PMDF investments and partner marketing funds.
Measure campaign effectiveness and optimise investment based on business outcomes.
Partner Engagement & Enablement
Develop programs that improve partner engagement, awareness, and adoption of key initiatives.
Enable partners with messaging, campaign kits, event-in-a-box programs, content, sales plays, and marketing tools.
Collaborate with channel teams to increase partner participation in programs, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
Support partner segmentation strategies and differentiated engagement models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Channel Sales, Alliances, Enterprise Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Operations, and SDR teams to ensure alignment of campaigns and follow-up motions.
Coordinate regional execution across APJ countries, balancing global consistency with local market relevance.
Act as the primary marketing contact for channel business priorities across APJ.
Budget & Investment Management
Manage channel marketing budgets, MDF/PMDF programs, and partner investment plans.
Maintain governance, compliance, and reporting standards for partner-funded activities.
Ensure investments are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver measurable ROI.
Measurement & Insights
Establish KPIs and performance reporting for channel marketing programs.
Track partner engagement, pipeline contribution, influenced revenue, marketing-sourced opportunities, and partner activation metrics.
Deliver quarterly business reviews and recommendations to leadership.
Provide insights and feedback to Global teams regarding APJ market needs and partner trends.

What You’ll Bring
5-8+ years in channel marketing, partner marketing, field marketing, or alliance marketing.
Experience managing complex partner ecosystems across multiple APJ markets.
Strong understanding of indirect sales models, distributors, resellers, MSPs, CSPs, and cloud/service provider channels.
Proven experience managing partner marketing investments and MDF programs.
Expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, events, and partner enablement.
Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones in a matrix organisation.
