CDET Project Manager (Collaboration & Digital Enablement Technology)

About the Role

New Era Technology is looking for an experienced CDET Project Manager to support one of our global enterprise clients by managing the successful transition of Collaboration & Digital Enablement Technology (CDET) projects into operational support.

This role is responsible for coordinating project turnover, overseeing witness testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder engagement, technical documentation, vendor coordination, and multimedia technology deployments across the APAC region. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, technical knowledge of enterprise Audio Visual (AV) and Collaboration technologies, and experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Transition

Manage the end-to-end turnover of Collaboration & Digital Enablement Technology (CDET) projects into Operations.

Coordinate witness testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), project sign-offs, and operational handovers.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards before transition to support teams.

Track project progress, risks, remediation activities, and deployment milestones.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, Workplace Services teams, and end users regarding multimedia and collaboration technology projects.

Conduct regular project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder updates.

Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions on newly deployed technologies.

Build strong relationships with business users, technology teams, and operations teams.

Multimedia & AV Solutions

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise multimedia and collaboration solutions.

Advise stakeholders on standard AV solutions and enterprise technology standards.

Review and approve vendor-proposed technical solutions where applicable.

Support solution design for meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, digital signage, IPTV, and workplace technologies.

Vendor & Deployment Management

Coordinate with implementation partners and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct site surveys and validate deployment readiness.

Manage quotations, implementation schedules, and deployment activities.

Evaluate vendor performance and participate in post-project reviews.

Technical Documentation & Governance

Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, deployment guides, operational manuals, and support documentation.

Maintain project dashboards, trackers, reports, and forecasting workbooks.

Ensure project documentation is complete before operational handover.

Support service review reporting and operational readiness assessments.

Technical Administration

Administer enterprise multimedia inventory and asset management tools.

Configure and prepare multimedia devices including:

Digital Signage Players

IPTV Receivers

Collaboration Room Equipment

Network-enabled AV Devices

Coordinate IP allocation, patching schedules, and device provisioning.

Identify and resolve inventory or configuration discrepancies.

Continuous Improvement

Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for new collaboration technologies.

Support remediation teams in resolving complex technical issues.

Identify process improvements and contribute to operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

6–10 years of experience in Project Management, AV Technologies, Workplace Technology, or Unified Communications.

Experience managing enterprise multimedia, collaboration, or workplace technology projects.

Strong understanding of Audio Visual systems, Digital Signage, IPTV, and collaboration platforms.

Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), operational handovers, and project transitions.

Strong stakeholder, vendor, and customer management skills.

Excellent documentation, reporting, and project coordination abilities.

Experience working in enterprise or global delivery environments.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Banking, Financial Services, or other enterprise environments.

Knowledge of enterprise AV standards, workplace technologies, and IT infrastructure.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).

Experience working with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar tools.

Exposure to enterprise asset management and multimedia inventory systems is an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Project Management, AVIXA CTS, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
