Aviation Fleet and Asset Planner

Metrea Special Management LLC operates as a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, engineering, and asset management services. This role supports the Fleet Planning function within our Maintenance and Operations division, focusing on long-range forecasting and optimization of our C/KC-135 aircraft assets.
Position Summary
The Fleet and Asset Planner is responsible for the long-range forecasting, planning and tracking of the Metrea C/KC-135 fleets through continuous monitoring of aircraft status and fleet utilization. Under leadership of the Manager of Maintenance Planning, ensures compliance with maintenance program requirements while maximizing aircraft availability.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with other planners to execute long-range planning strategies and timelines to integrate new aircraft from acquisition into operational service
Accomplish maintenance records reviews and determine phase-in requirements for newly acquired aircraft/powerplants/accessories
Develop long-range forecasts for the performance of aircraft HMV in coordination with the Manager of Heavy Maintenance, and Powerplant and Major Assembly Subject Matter Experts
Develop fleet scheduling and rotation plans to support program requirements and heavy maintenance activities
Coordinate aircraft availability planning and forecasting in support of cross-functional teams including Technical Services, Asset Value, Aircraft Records, Maintenance Programs, and Flight Operations
Analyze fleet utilization and performance trends to maximize aircraft, major accessories such as engines, landing gear, specialized equipment, and other critical component availability
Monitor and adjust maintenance forecasts to ensure aircraft availability and inspection program requirements are met
Assist in the development of work scopes for C/KC-135 aircraft entering heavy maintenance checks, as well as work scopes for major accessories and critical components requiring repair ensuring alignment with airworthiness and program requirements
What You Bring
5+ years in aviation maintenance operations, with hands-on experience in fleet planning across multiple airframes
Strong background in military aircraft maintenance and inspection programs, particularly KC-135 operations
Proficient in predictive, preventive, and prescriptive maintenance strategies
Experienced with compliance monitoring tools and aviation maintenance software platforms
Skilled in database management, software administration, and aviation regulatory compliance
Project management experience, including software implementation and cross-functional coordination
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Valid Passport
Valid Driver's License
Highly computer literate with ability to develop tools to support position responsibilities
In-depth experience utilizing aviation MIS platforms (CAMS, GO81, AMOS, FlightDocs/Veryon)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Travel
If located in the Temecula CA area (Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties), other travel requirements are up to 25%.
Base Pay Range
The compensation range shown below is a good faith estimate and reflects the expected base pay for this position upon hire. This is just one component of Metrea's overall approach to total rewards and final compensation decisions, including the ultimate salary or hourly rate agreed upon, may vary depending on factors such as job location, job-specific knowledge, skills, experience, and the overall negotiated compensation package. Eligible full-time employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, wellbeing, and long-term success.

$120,000—$140,000 USD
