Associate Technical Recruiter
How you will make an impact:
As a Technical Recruiter in Portugal, you'll be part of a global Talent Acquisition team and an ongoing Lisbon presence. You will hire across technical and non-technical disciplines - sourcing and engaging candidates, guiding them through our hiring process, and owning a candidate experience that reflects who we are as a company.
This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who is genuinely curious about technology and who wants to learn how a high-performing engineering organization is built. You won't just execute a process: you'll be expected to understand the "why" behind every role, raise the bar on how we work, and build real, lasting relationships with the people we hire (and the ones we don't).
One of our core values is a growth mindset, and Iterable is a company where everyone can grow. If this role excites you, please apply, as we value applicants for the skills they bring beyond the job description. Note: Please kindly submit your resume in English. Thank you!
How you will make a difference:
Support and progressively own full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles as we grow our Lisbon team
Deliver a top-class candidate experience at every touchpoint - build genuine, lasting relationships, understand what drives each person, and make every interaction reflect who Iterable is
Partner with hiring managers to understand each role deeply - the tech stack, the team, the "why" - and use that knowledge to engage and evaluate candidates more effectively
Bring a technologist mindset to everything you do: actively explore AI tools, test new approaches, and find smarter ways to work across sourcing, outreach, and day-to-day recruiting
Support TA operations - maintaining templates, coordinating scheduling, and keeping our ATS up to date - ensuring the foundations are always in place for a seamless hiring process
Start building your presence in the local tech community - representing Iterable at events, growing your network, and nurturing candidate relationships over time
We are looking for people who have:
1–3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a talent-adjacent role
A genuine interest in technology: you can hold a credible conversation about how software teams work, and you actively follow tech and AI trends
Strong will to explore new AI technology hands-on — you dive into new tools rather than waiting to be trained on them
Real drive and ambition: you want to improve your work, raise standards, and deliver with genuine care
Curious to understand the "why" behind roles, decisions, and processes
An obsession with human connection and candidate experience - you believe recruiting is fundamentally a people job
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A confident, coachable, and enthusiastic mindset - you thrive on feedback and in a fast-moving environment
Fluency in written and verbal English
Bonus Points
Experience sourcing for technical/engineering roles
Familiarity with ATS platforms (especially Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or alternative sourcing tools
Hands-on experience using AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in a work context
