Associate Merchandiser - Temporary

The Temporary Associate Merchandiser collaborates with the lead Merchandiser on the execution of departmental strategies and business objectives; is responsible for translating information and ideas that contribute to an actionable business plan; and supports the department with any necessary tactical responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own assigned product categories and manage the seasonal merchandising process from concept through commercialization.

Manage seasonal development calendars merchandising milestones to ensure timely execution.

Partner with lead Merchandiser to establish pricing and margin strategies that achieve financial objectives.

Maintain accurate assortment plans, costing sheets, pricing records, and margin tracking for assigned categories.

Analyze sales performance, product trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and make assortment recommendations.

Work with the marketing department to coordinate tools needed for PDP shoots and paper trims development.

Build relationships with Cross-Functional partners and participate as a solution-oriented team member, contributing to a high performing team.

Conduct competitive shopping and market research to identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and best practices.

Prepare all necessary documents and resources for major Product Lifecycle Meetings, including Hindsight, Sales meetings, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of Merchandising experience

BA or BS Degree (Fashion Merchandising preferred)

Proficient in MS Office and Google

Knowledge of retail math

Salary offered will be at the discretion of the Company and based on a candidate’s qualifications.  For this position, the base salary will be between $30.00 - $35.00/hourly.  Other benefits associated with the position for eligible associates are listed below.
