The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs Germany, this individual is responsible for building and executing RevMed's communications strategy in Germany. The Associate Director Corporate Affairs Germany supports the Senior Director in translating the overall Corporate Affairs strategy into concrete, effective communications initiatives, playing a key role in establishing RevMed as a credible and valued partner in the German healthcare market. The incumbent is accountable for the operational execution of defined communications objectives, using allocated resources and budgets efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Developing and executing the communications strategy for Germany in close alignment with the Senior Director, Corporate Affairs Germany, as well as the European and global Communications teams.

Developing stakeholder-centric communication strategies and consistent messaging to effectively convey RevMed's vision, mission, and patient-centered approach.

Building and maintaining relationships with media, trade press, and relevant communications-focused stakeholders in Germany.

Developing and steering press and public relations activities, including drafting statements, Q&As, and external communications materials.

Strengthening the visibility and reputation of RevMed and its leadership in the German market.

Preparing and supporting the Senior Director and other leaders for external stakeholder and media engagements, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence.

Leading internal communications, including regular updates, milestone communications, and support for change management processes.

Contributing to the strategic allocation of the communications budget, including the selection and management of specialized agencies and vendors.

Overseeing external agencies, consultants, and project-based partners as required.

Measuring and assessing the effectiveness of communications activities using defined KPIs and metrics.

Collaborating closely across Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy to ensure consistent messaging across all functions.

Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and RevMed's ethical standards across all government affairs activities.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

8+ years of experience in Communications/PR; experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, as well as agency or corporate experience, is advantageous but not required for candidates with demonstrated expertise.

Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies at national level.

Good understanding of the German healthcare system and the regulatory and industry-specific framework relevant to communications work.

Strong communication skills, excellent writing ability, and a good sense of storytelling.

Ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner, setting priorities autonomously in a dynamic environment.

High social competence and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Native-level German and excellent business English, written and spoken.

Proficiency with MS Office and common business applications.
