Overview

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director of Art to help define what Ninja looks like next. This is a role for a conceptual leader with a solid branding background and a passion for bringing new brands and products to life — someone who collaborates closely with their writing partner to generate breakthrough creative ideas that sell products across Packaging, In-Store, OTT, Social, Experiential, DTC, and Amazon.

You are imaginative and prolific, not precious, about your ideas. You can take a brief and realize it through fresh, disruptive executions. You are super detail-oriented, ultra-collaborative, and can handle the grind of iterating until we find the breakthrough story. You think in systems, not just assets — building platforms and identities that scale across every touchpoint and perform.

You must have at least 8 years of creative agency or in-house experience, with a thorough understanding of product marketing. Start-up experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do

Develop the creative strategy for new product launches across Ninja brands

Define product identities from the ground up in partnership with product and insights teams

Bring new products to market via creative storytelling including naming, logo executions, and visual identity/design language

Collaborate with consumer insights, product development, engineering, and brand marketing to generate strategies, concepts, and campaigns that support business goals

Lead scalable campaign platforms and ideas that travel across channels — packaging, Amazon, DTC, social, video, retail, and experiential

Art direct photo and video shoots

Present and sell creative work at the executive level

Translate ideas to junior designers and oversee the visual manifestation of concepts

Mentor and elevate junior creatives

Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships across the entire organization

Use AI to accelerate concepting, exploration, and iteration

What We Expect

Show design excellence across various media: TVC, Social, product identity design

Create high-quality graphics, mock-ups, and designs to support the creative strategy

Establish and lead strategic design intent for various products

Create sketches, mood boards, layouts, and presentations

Bring multiple conceptual and design solutions to every assignment

Understand aspects of print production

Execute video concepting and storyboarding

Work closely with brand teams to manage creative deliverables and tight deadlines

Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation

Actively participate in or lead brainstorming sessions

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of creative agency or in-house experience, preferably with product marketing background

Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and visual excellence across brand, campaign, and product work

Proven ability to concept and execute across Packaging, DTC, Amazon, Retail, Social, and integrated campaigns

Experience bringing product identities and stories from 0 to 1

Strong instincts for social and platform-native storytelling

High standards for craft, clarity, and taste

Experience using AI in the creative process

Excellent at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment

You’ll Thrive Here If You

Think like a builder — systems-first, not just executions

Are prolific and push for stronger, more ownable ideas

Can take action in the face of ambiguity with world-class problem-solving skills

Move fast, iterate often, and believe constructive feedback drives better outcomes

Are a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Lead by example and elevate those around you
