The AI Customer Success Intern is a 3-month internship that combines domain knowledge and AI integrations. The intern supports the Customer Management team in delivering a great customer experience and helping customers adopt and realize value from KnowBe4’s security awareness training and phishing simulation platform. The role combines learning how customer success works with building, testing, and maintaining AI workflows that make that work faster and more accurate.

You’ll work alongside Customer Management leads, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and the GTM Engineer (Customer Success) to build AI workflows like Exec Sponsor briefs, health and engagement signals, adoption scorecards, and onboarding reporting, and to support rollout to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn to build and support AI workflows for Customer Management, including Exec Sponsor briefs, health and engagement signals, adoption scorecards, and onboarding scorecards. Prototype prompts, skills, and small scripts, and keep them running after launch.

Assist and test AI outputs before CSMs rely on them. Build test sets from real accounts, check outputs against source data in Salesforce, ChurnZero, and Snowflake, log errors, and fix them.

Translate customer success knowledge into AI requirements. Work with CSMs and Customer Management leads to define what a good output looks like for adoption, health, and engagement, then turn it into prompts or logic.

Leverage KnowBe4 assessments and reporting to support adoption insights, including participation rates, phishing outcomes, training completion trends, and retention trends. Keep internal trackers and dashboards current, and escalate risks or blockers to the assigned CSM.

Document best practices and AI assets. Maintain runbooks, prompt versions, data definitions, and templates. Compile and share approved KnowBe4 resources and rollout steps, and support AI Champions as they adopt the workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field

Hands-on use of an AI assistant for real work, and interest in prompt design

Basic SQL or Python

Comfortable with spreadsheets and documents (Excel/Google Sheets; Word/Google Docs)

Strong verbal and written communications

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance

Curious, coachable, and comfortable working in a team environment
