What you’ll have to do:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, expense reports, and bank reconciliations;

Record and review accounting entries in SAP, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable standards (IFRS / BNR / OMFP);

Prepare and post accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments;

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements;

Reconcile intercompany balances and other general ledger accounts;

Collaborate with the Risk, Operations, and Reporting teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for financial products;

Assist in preparing statutory, fiscal, and regulatory reports for authorities (BNR, ANAF);

Support audits (internal & external) by providing required documentation and explanations;

Contribute to process improvement, automation, and control initiatives within the Finance area.

Wow we'd like you to be:

With a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;

With a minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial institutions, banks, or fintech companies;

With a strong understanding of Romanian GAAP and IFRS principles;

With proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and good Excel skills;

With an analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and strong ownership of assigned tasks;

With the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;

With good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
