Accounting Manager, Growth Ventures
Play a pivotal role building the accounting function for Beast Industries' newest business lines; owning GAAP-compliant reporting, subscription revenue operations, and scalable financial processes for businesses growing from launch to scale.
The Role
The Accounting Manager, Growth Ventures, will own the books for a portfolio of early-stage digital ventures — including membership and subscription products, SaaS analytics, and creator platform businesses — as these ventures mature from startup mode into audit-ready operations. This role is a unique blend of hands-on close ownership and zero-to-one process building. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with a strong technical foundation and a builder mentality who is energized by being the first dedicated accountant a business has ever had.
What You'll Do
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for each emerging entity
Build entity-level reporting and reconciliations that integrate into the consolidated close
Design right-sized processes, controls, and documentation for each business, maturing them as entities approach audit scope
Support external audit deliverables as entities enter scope, including PBC preparation and walkthrough support
Own NetSuite setup and optimization for emerging entities, driving automation of billing data flows and recurring entries
Identify financial risks and opportunities early, escalating with recommended solutions
Contribute to ad hoc projects and analyses as new ventures launch and the portfolio evolves
What You'll Bring
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including subscription, SaaS, or platform business models
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA required
Working knowledge of ASC 606, including deferred revenue and multi-element arrangements
A mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience is highly desirable
A builder mentality with startup-to-scale instincts
Multi-entity experience; NetSuite or a comparable ERP preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance business leaders
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment
The target total compensation ranges from $172,500 – $195,500 including a fixed annual salary of $150,000 – $170,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.
Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
