Accountant, JV & VIE
About the Team
You'll join a team that is scaling as fast as the business it accounts for. We solve problems quickly, learn and improve as we go, and operate with positive intent, flexibility, and patience. This is a hands-on team that runs a monthly close and builds the process at the same time, so teamwork and clear communication matter as much as execution. We win together.
The Accountant, JV & VIE keeps the funding side of CoreWeave's joint venture arrangements moving. You will coordinate capital draw payments from request through funding, manage the draw calendar, prepare and track draw packages, and keep internal teams and JV partners informed of status and deadlines. This is a staff-level role and an excellent entry point into joint venture accounting. It suits someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and a confident communicator, and who is comfortable building relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. This role sits within the Leasing, Joint Venture, VIE and Construction Accounting team and reports to the Manager, JV & VIE Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate capital draw payments for JV arrangements from request through approval and funding.
Prepare and assemble draw packages, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and consistent with the JV operating agreements.
Track each draw against its funding schedule and follow open items through to resolution.
Own the capital draw calendar, managing submission, approval, and funding deadlines across multiple JV arrangements.
Keep internal reviewers and approvers on schedule with timely reminders and clear asks, and maintain a current status view of every in-flight draw.
Build strong working relationships with JV partners and senior internal stakeholders across accounting, treasury, legal, and project teams.
Communicate draw status, timing, and outstanding requirements clearly and professionally, and escalate issues early with the context and options needed to resolve them.
Maintain organized records of draw requests, approvals, and supporting documentation, keeping files audit-ready.
Support the accounting team with schedules and information for month-end close and reporting as needed.
Identify improvements to the draw process, trackers, and templates as volume grows.
Qualifications:
1-2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, or business or project coordination.
Exceptional attention to detail: you catch the amount that's off by a digit and the missing approval before anyone else does.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organized, with proven ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Strong Excel skills and comfort maintaining trackers, calendars, and status reporting.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain momentum in high-growth environments, including the capacity to act effectively when faced with ambiguity or incomplete data.
Applicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Preferred Skills:
Experience coordinating payments, funding processes, or capital calls. Treasury, lending, fund administration, or title/escrow backgrounds all translate well.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience working with AI tools.
You like being the person who keeps the trains running; deadlines don't slip because you're watching them.
You're comfortable sending the follow-up or picking up the phone when a funding deadline is at risk.
You want a front-row seat to how large-scale JV arrangements are funded, with room to grow into a JV accounting role.
