About the Role

We are looking for an Account Director to join our high-energy team for one of our large tech clients. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented account lead who moves quickly, embraces new opportunities, and brings strong strategy and leadership to drive platform initiatives.

As the lead for the day-to-day client partnership, you will develop a deep understanding of the client’s business. Partnering closely with client stakeholders and senior leadership, you will ensure strategic and creative solutions address business needs, deliver against client goals, and drive seamless execution.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented account lead who brings curiosity and rigor to their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and strengthens partnerships through positive collaboration, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Account & Project Leadership: Lead the day-to-day client relationship, building strong, trusted partnerships and aligning internal teams around a unified approach. Serve as the central strategic, client-facing, and project management lead for key client initiatives, including a major web platform overhaul. Provide executive oversight, status reporting, and senior escalation management while connecting performance outcomes to future opportunities to continuously strengthen client programs and briefs.

Operational Excellence & Delivery: Drive program approaches, scope, and timelines while fostering cross-functional alignment and maintaining clear communication cadences to ensure seamless project delivery.

UX Strategy, Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead the overall UX strategy for the web platform transition and oversee project timeline, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional teams across Content Strategy, UX Design, Copy, and Production.

Scope, Financial Governance & Alignment: Build pricing models & SOWs for subsequent design and development phases requiring separate funding, and provide financial oversight for the workstream. Ensure web strategy and execution align with other parallel workstreams.

Strategic Storytelling & Creative Quality: Synthesize strategic inputs into cohesive narratives and champion high-quality creative work, ensuring all briefs and outputs align with the client’s business goals.

Support Organic Growth: Identify and support organic growth opportunities within the client organization, helping expand existing projects into broader, longer-term programs.

About You

The essentials:

7+ years of experience in a fast-paced client-side or agency environment leading marketing programs and strategic initiatives.

Experience leading complex, large-scale website redesign or platform overhaul projects (specifically with tools like Rainfocus, Swoogo, or similar event/registration platforms).

Demonstrated experience navigating and aligning multiple, high-level client stakeholders across different teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Events) to drive unified strategic decisions.

Proven ability to manage complex Statements of Work (SOWs), develop pricing models for multi-phase projects, and provide rigorous financial oversight and reporting throughout a project lifecycle.

A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and extreme attention to detail.

A tech-forward mindset with a strong foundation in AI literacy and an openness to leverage emerging technologies to optimize creative and operational workflows.

Not a must, but a plus:

Extensive experience managing complex programs where the web workstream must align with parallel marketing initiatives (such as email campaigns, paid media, and live event logistics).

Fluency in UX/UI principles and ability to translate strategic business goals into clear, actionable briefs for design and content teams.

Seasoned in senior escalation management—able to identify risks early, communicate transparently with leadership, and proactively resolve blockers before they impact project timelines.
