What you'll do

As a Warehouse Technician, you will be hands-on at the heart of our manufacturing operation — bringing complex energy systems to life from raw components to finished assemblies. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, storing and organizing inventory, and picking and staging components needed to keep the production line on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with a wide range of materials, from small hardware and electrical components to large, heavy transformer parts such as tanks, cores, coils, bushings, and radiators.

Where you'll work

This role will be based at our Houston transformer facility. You must be willing to work onsite full-time in line with the production schedule, including OT and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and parts; verify quantities and condition against packing slips and purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damage.

Unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or overhead cranes as required.

Accurately enter receiving, put-away, and pick transactions into the ERP system

Store materials in designated locations, maintaining organized, labeled, and easily accessible inventory

Pick, kit, and stage components (insulation materials, bushings, gaskets, fasteners, and other consumables) to support production schedules and work orders.

Prepare finished transformers and outbound shipments for delivery, including packaging, crating, labeling, and staging for freight carriers

Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventories; assist in resolving inventory discrepancies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment with a role in inventory or material

Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes

Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365, NetSuite)

Ability to read and interpret packing slips, bills of lading, pick tickets, and basic bills of materials (BOMs).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts and documentation.

High school diploma or equivalent

Bonus points

Experience with electrical infrastructure manufacturing, with transformer experience strongly preferred

ASCM Warehouse Certificate a plus

Prior experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment a plus
