About the Role

**This is a temporary contract through the remainder of 2026.

As a Temp Account Director, you will be responsible for leading the agency’s execution of key creative program initiatives, customer marketing programs, and integrated campaigns for our Google Ads account. This high-visibility role requires regular client communication and direct partnership with senior Google executives and directors to translate complex sales narratives into cohesive, world-class creative platform campaigns.

As the principal agency partner, you will manage client communication and work closely with internal creative, strategy, and production teams through creative briefing, production timelines, execution, and final launch, ensuring flawless delivery and strategic alignment at every stage.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the internal program/project lead, providing direction, leadership and advocacy for the team.

Responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of the agency’s services.

Oversee all aspects of the creative development process from briefing and development to final approval.

Look beyond the day-to-day needs of a large account, ensure the use of effective processes across the team and long-term stability

Demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately

Build and maintain key relationships with client partners

About You

The essentials:

Progressive account management experience within a creative agency environment.

5+ years experience working on either the client side or agency side (preferably both).

Proven agency background leading creative program initiatives, with a solid understanding of creative production timelines and asset handoffs.

Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale marketing strategies and programs.

Strong understanding of email/relationship/direct & data driven marketing strategy, practices and principles.

Experience working with B2B and/or tech sector companies, digital media ecosystems, or ad platforms.

Demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility accounts with regular exposure to Director-level plus stakeholders.

Exceptional capability to articulate strategic rationale, guide discussions, and secure senior executive buy-in.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills tailored for clear client communication and executive updates.

Clear communicator to team and clients; a natural diplomat with the ability to gather information, partner closely with internal creative teams, align diverse viewpoints, and push back constructively while maintaining positive relationships.

Comfortable working autonomously, highly self-driven, proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity to execute thoughtfully under tight turnarounds.

Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful decisions--whether it’s related to people management, team development, client relationship, or internal process--with foresight and follow through.

Ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

Monks has provided an hourly rate that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The rate offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Hourly Rate

$70—$80 USD
