About the Role

* This is a temporary contract that ends in November 2026

We are looking for an Account Director to join our high energy team for one of our large tech clients. As an Account Director, you will partner closely with the internal agency team, client marketing partners, and internal marketing teams to support creative marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate jumps on new opportunities, gets nerdy about what they do, and works quickly and flexibly to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

Comfortable self managing projects, and drives budgets, SOW, revenue tracking.

Experience with diverse campaigns including integrated marketing campaigns, video & banner production, social media, and creating website landing pages.

Experience with B2B audiences, enterprise level preferred.

Manage day-to-day communications with the client.

Demonstrates comfort to partner with strategy teams and creative teams in a seamless way and able to clearly communicate the needs of the clients’ business to create creative solutions.

Project manage creative execution across all key program areas, including collateral, strategy decks, blogs, email, tools, video, website, direct marketing, etc.

Partners with the internal operations team to resource projects.

Build and maintain key relationships with client teams and internal agency team.

Provides clear project updates and can effectively escalate to the team manager.

About You

The essentials:

5+ years experience in a fast paced client side or agency marketing team with knowledge of the fundamentals of marketing practices

Experience managing clients, ideally experience working with high-tech clients with AI technology experience a bonus

Demonstrated ability to run with ambiguity

Must be a self-starter who can operate in a constantly evolving team environment

Excellent written communication skills with an extreme attention to detail

Experienced at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously

A knack for unraveling complex problems and processes in an easy to comprehend way

Comfortable working as an individual contributor

Must have excellent problem solving skills with presentation development skills

Experience in project management with substantial cross-functional interaction and a demonstrated ability to work successfully in a virtual global environment

Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including both professional and casual style of communication

Proficient with Google Workspace products preferred

What We Offer

Monks has provided an hourly rate that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The rate offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Hourly Rate

$65—$75 USD
