Strength in Trust

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down - it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like.

OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.

The Challenge

OneTrust is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our R&D Customer Engineering organization and help drive innovation across our AI Governance portfolio. This role combines the technical depth of a software engineer with the customer focus of a solution architect, helping strategic customers solve complex governance challenges through hands-on solution development, integrations, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.

You will leverage OneTrust products, APIs, workflows, integrations, and extensibility frameworks to rapidly design, build, validate, and operationalize customer solutions while influencing future product investments through real-world implementation experience. This role aligns with the Design Partner Program's model of sitting between solution architecture, customer engineering, and product development.

You will sit at the intersection of AI Governance, Privacy, Risk, Security, and Compliance, helping customers adopt responsible AI while influencing future platform investments through real-world implementation experience.

Success in this role means accelerating customer adoption, reducing time-to-value, uncovering product opportunities, validating emerging concepts, and transforming customer-specific solutions into repeatable implementation patterns that benefit the broader OneTrust ecosystem.

Your Mission

Build customer-facing solutions by developing demonstrations, proof-of-value implementations, integrations, automations, and accelerators across AI Governance and adjacent OneTrust domains.

Solve complex technical challenges through hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation support for strategic customer engagements.

Extend platform capabilities using APIs, SDKs, workflow automation, AI technologies, and cloud services without modifying OneTrust's core product codebase.

Accelerate AI Governance adoption across AI inventories, risk assessments, governance workflows, compliance operations, model oversight, and responsible AI programs.

Create reusable assets including reference architectures, implementation playbooks, solution blueprints, and best-practice guidance that can scale across customers.

Influence product strategy by identifying adoption barriers, implementation gaps, emerging customer needs, and opportunities for future platform investment.

Leverage Modern AI Technologies and utilize AI-assisted development tools, AI agents, cloud-native services, and emerging engineering approaches to rapidly prototype and validate new solution concepts. Evaluate new AI technologies and integration opportunities relevant to OneTrust's AI Governance ecosystem.
