JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced, versatile, and execution-oriented Technical Sourcer to lead sourcing strategy and execution for our fast-paced hiring needs across software, hardware, and product teams.

In this role, you will not be restricted to a single technical specialty; instead, you will apply deep sourcing expertise across multiple disciplines, shaping sourcing standards and pipeline strategy for our Mountain View, CA office. Additionally, as the senior recruiting team member and sole recruiting presence in our Mountain View location, you will serve as the trusted advisor and operational leader for local hiring—partnering with local site leadership and cross-functional interviewing teams to design, coordinate, and continuously improve all CA office-specific on-site interview loops.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and site leadership to shape sourcing strategy across diverse engineering domains, including Hardware (ME, EE, Embedded), Software, and Product roles, translating ambiguous hiring needs into scalable sourcing plans.

Lead the sourcing of qualified passive candidates using various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical publications, and active networking within deep tech, software, and hardware communities, continually refining channel strategy and sharing best practices that raise sourcing effectiveness across the team.

Screen resumes and conduct initial vetting calls, exercising sound judgment to assess technical baseline capability, alignment with role scope, and cultural add, while coaching others on effective screening practices.

Serve as the primary on-site Talent Acquisition representative and trusted advisor for the Mountain View office. Partner with local site leadership and cross-functional interviewing teams to design, coordinate, host, and continuously improve all CA-specific on-site interview loops, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience.

Own candidate pipeline management and applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) data integrity, identifying and resolving process gaps that affect data quality or compliance.

Analyze pipeline and sourcing data to evaluate program effectiveness, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to hiring managers and the broader People team on talent market conditions across software, hardware, and product landscapes.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Deep expertise in technical sourcing, with a proven ability to fluently pivot between software, hardware, and product management domains and apply sound judgment to ambiguous or complex sourcing challenges.

Track record of designing and scaling creative sourcing strategies that unearth niche talent beyond standard job postings, and sharing techniques that raise sourcing standards across the team.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted, influential partnerships with local Mountain View site leadership, diverse interview teams, and candidates alike, shaping how the function engages with the site.

Outstanding organizational skills with a proven ability to independently manage real-time interview logistics, scheduling variables, and physical on-site hosting, while improving processes for scalability.

Comfortable operating as the senior recruiting presence in a satellite office; self-motivated, proactive, and resilient through changing business and engineering priorities, exercising independent judgment with minimal oversight.

High proficiency with modern applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) and sourcing discovery tools, with the ability to identify and address data quality or reporting gaps.

Embodies the company values of Curiosity, Humility, Integrity, Passion, and Creativity (CHIPC).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

8+ years of technical sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environment, with demonstrated impact at a senior or staff level.

Demonstrated track record of leading talent-mapping and pipeline-building strategy across a mixed portfolio of hardware, software, and product roles, and influencing sourcing standards beyond a single team.

Prior experience serving as a trusted advisor to local office stakeholders and independently leading end-to-end interview coordination loops.
