About the Role

Our team is growing to help OpenAI build the next phase of highly capable intelligent computer systems. We’re looking for a highly experienced Recruiter who advises hiring managers and partners closely with senior leaders across the organization. You're driven to work on high-value talent initiatives and are close to the industry’s most sought-after talent. You’ll work with our existing team members—including technical recruiters, coordinators, sourcers, and cross-functional partners—to drive key hires across engineering, AI, and technical domains.

In this role, you will:

- Independently manage stakeholder expectations for top-of-funnel initiatives across the business

- Partner with executives and hiring managers to deeply understand current and future hiring needs

- Design and execute strategic sourcing plans to map talent and drive top-of-funnel activity

- Own the candidate experience from first engagement through loop interview stage, delivering exceptional service and fast turnaround

- Act as a thought partner to hiring teams, offering talent market insights, funnel data, and best practices

- Source technical talent through creative outreach, events, and passive campaigns

- Build and maintain nurturing campaigns and brand-forward recruitment marketing efforts

- Proven success hiring in niche and competitive technical talent markets

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders

- Clear, compelling written and verbal communication skills

- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
