SUMMARY

The Technical Project Manager leads technical implementation projects for Avetta's customers, with a primary focus on Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and API-based integrations. This role coordinates internal and external resources to drive projects from requirements through go-live, serving as the technical subject matter expert for the Implementation Team and as a trusted advisor to customers navigating complex technical setup.

Candidates located within commuting distance of Avetta's offices in Lehi, Utah; Dallas, Texas; or Houston, Texas are strongly preferred, as this role follows a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. Exceptional candidates who do not live within commuting distance of one of these office locations may be considered for a fully remote arrangement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Delivery

Own end-to-end delivery of customer technical implementation projects, with an emphasis on SSO configuration (SAML, OIDC) and API-based/custom integrations

Manage project scope, timeline, and change control to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

Gather and document client requirements; recommend solutions aligned with best practices and industry standards

Provide regular project status updates and reporting to project management and/or Technical Project leadership

Technical Advisory

Serve as the subject matter expert on customer-facing technical solutions, particularly SSO and API integrations

Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through technical decisions and key considerations during implementation

Provide technical guidance and escalation support to the global Implementation Team

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Communicate effectively across the organization, interfacing with stakeholders at multiple levels of management

Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment across Engineering, Product, Implementation and Customer Success

Support and help execute team process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives

Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve delivery speed, quality, and internal processes

Travel – up to 10% of travel required.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:

3–5 years of experience in a client-facing technical implementation or project management role

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience

Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On technologies (SAML, OIDC, or similar)

Experience with API-based integration and custom integration work

Experience with ticketing/collaboration systems such as Jira and Confluence

Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and client management best practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salesforce experience or certification

Experience with analytics and reporting tools

Familiarity with localization considerations for global implementations

Topical understanding of the Health & Safety regulatory environment
