Technical Product Manager
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to sit between Gensyn's core technology and the people who build on it. You'll own how our capabilities (verifiable execution, p2p agent networking, on-chain information markets) reach real users: shaping the product surface, working directly with design partners, and doing the technical pre-sales work that turns novel infrastructure into deployed use cases.
This is a 0–1 role. You will be in the room with partners and users, then back in the product defining what has to change.
Responsibilities
Own how Gensyn's technology reaches users: product surface, packaging, and the path from first conversation to deployed integration.
Partner with engineering and research teams to shape complex systems into usable products.
Run technical discovery and pre-sales conversations with prospective partners and integrators, and turn them into scoped, committed use cases.
Build reference integrations, demos, and technical collateral that let partners self-serve.
Own the feedback loop from design partners back into the roadmap.
Provide BD and marketing the technical substance behind the pitch.
Engage directly with technical users (ML Engineers & Researchers) to identify friction and improve usability.
Identify and validate early product-market fit through use cases and design partners.
Connect technical capabilities to real-world and commercial outcomes.
Define and track metrics for adoption, reliability, and developer satisfaction.
Competencies
Must have
Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups with high ownership and ambiguity.
Proven ability to drive product delivery across technical teams, especially in infrastructure, platform, or developer-facing systems.
Strong technical communication skills and the ability to translate complex systems into clear product direction and user value.
Fluency with AI coding and prototyping tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). This is how the team works day to day.
Experience building for technical users (engineers, developers, researchers), with strong empathy for developer workflows and integration pain points.
Ability to connect technical systems to real-world use cases and commercial outcomes.
Preferred
Background in crypto finance or on-chain infrastructure (DeFi protocols, exchanges, market infrastructure, wallets, or similar), with real understanding of how those systems work under the hood.
Experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or partner-facing product role.
Experience owning core infrastructure or developer platforms end-to-end.
Experience working in research-heavy or AI/ML-driven environments.
Experience taking technically novel systems toward product-market fit.
Nice to have
Hands-on programming experience (Python, Go, Rust, or similar).
Open-source contribution or community experience.
