Overview of Opportunity

Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Engineer to serve as a technical subject matter expert for our government customers and the military community in the Indo-Pacific region. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and customer interaction to ensure the successful deployment and operation of our developed warfighting solutions.

This is an opportunity to work with a team of talented and motivated engineers and to make critical contributions to projects that impact our nation and our nation’s warfighters. The work requires that the selected candidate hold an Active Top Secret Clearance. In addition, the selected candidate will be required to be local to the DMV area and be willing to work up to 5 days/week  at U.S. Gov facility and/or Two Six Herndon facility.

Responsibilities:

Utilize SQL to develop custom data visualizations to support mission requirements.

Receive, analyze, preprocess, and ingest data into the product data model leveraging Python.

Deploy, configure, and administer product servers on unclassified and classified networks in support of customer requirements.

Provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, oversee any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of systems.

Participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer metrics

Understand and communicate client feature requests to project engineering teams and project support personnel

Participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics

Perform project management function from client engagements to include identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting

Provide client feature requests to project engineering teams and project support personnel

Develop and write documentation as required

Brief and demonstrate company projects to a variety of customers (government and non-government agencies).

Train and familiarize operators on equipment and systems developed by Two Six Technologies.

Requirements:

5+ years of SQL for data processing and visualization

2+ years of Kubernetes experience

Experience with scripting using Python, or similar dynamic languages.

Experience with deploying, managing, troubleshooting servers on secure networks.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices, specifically in a government or military context

Demonstrated success in problem-solving skills and the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on complex systems

Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients

Proven project management skills, including organizing and tracking project milestones

Ability and willingness to travel greater than 15%

Current Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a SCI

Nice to Have:

Experience working in any of the Non-Kinetic military communities; Cybersecurity, Space or Electronic Warfare domain experience and knowledge.

Hands-on experience with Rancher for multi-cluster Kubernetes management, Argo CD for GitOps continuous delivery, and Harbor for secure artifact registry.

Familiarity with web communication (APIs, web servers, oAuth, certificate validation)

Experience with DevOps and/or Agile; Atlassian collaboration tools

Experience with Linux, AWS, Docker

Direct experience deploying complex AI architectures within federal, state, or local government IT environments, including compliance with strict security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).

Strong understanding of using tidy data principles to structure, clean, and transform messy, tabular datasets into analyst-ready formats.

DoDD 8140 (former 8570) IAM/IAT level II or higher certification

Clearance:

Current Top Secret clearance with ability to get SCI

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$110,000—$180,000 USD
