POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for managing various aspects of the forecasting and S&OP processes, as well as creating and managing reports that will monitor and improve the overall efficiency and consistency of the supply chain and operations teams. This role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing ways to improve customer service, inventory investment, and supply chain efficiency to achieve measurable results. The position will analyze necessary reports, expedite decisions, perform problem resolution, and work with the production planning team to support schedule adherence. This position works within the ERP system to data mine necessary information and updates the system when needed as part of item configuration management. The role works with the purchasing team to expedite purchase orders, regulatory approvals, engineering to approve specifications, and quality to expedite the internal release of hold and in process material. The Supply Chain Analyst will follow all inventory processes and procedures with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous workflow. In addition, this person will be required to participate in all physical inventory activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Demonstrate a high level of understanding of operations-related business processes and common analytics, MRP, and inventory management.

Coordinate product forecasting with the commercial and financial teams, and format forecasts and other plans for import into the ERP system.

Provide data for S&OP and other regular meetings held by upper management.

Utilize software tools like Excel and PowerBI to analyze data and create and track KPI’s.

Analyze sales data to identify trends and assist with production and component planning.

Lead cross functional projects to effectively drive change in service, cost, and inventory.

Identify and communicate material issues and shortages that may disrupt production activities.

Demonstrate the ability to:

Research inaccuracies and suggest corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Work independently and achieve a high level of work volume and accuracy.

Collaborate with teams across various departments to enhance efficiency and visibility.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

2-4 years of previous supply chain, operations, and/or logistics experience (internship/co-op experience applies)

Exposure to user level ERP experience for Supply Chain functions

Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel, Power BI / Tableau

Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills

Able to multi-task

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 plus years of combined experience in MRP, material planning and scheduling, inventory control and/or supply chain management

Experience in SQL programming language

Experience with Oracle ERP software, and/or ERP implementation experience

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed

Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed

Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 25 pounds

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
