Supplier Quality Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) - Fresher to join our Supplier Quality team. candidate will support supplier quality assurance activities for purchased materials, components, and assemblies while working closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality departments. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to supplier quality management, assembly inspections, special process controls, root cause analysis, and aerospace quality systems, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and AST requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support supplier quality assurance activities for purchased parts, materials, and assemblies.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality documentation.
Participate in supplier qualification, assessment, and audit activities.
Assist in incoming inspection and verification of supplier documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material certifications, and inspection records.
Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
Monitor supplier quality performance and maintain supplier quality records.
Participate in root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
Work with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports in accordance with AST procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on supplier quality and process effectiveness.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Experience:
Fresher to 1 year of relevant experience.
Internship or project experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, aerospace, automotive, or supplier quality is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Familiarity with engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Internship, project work, or participation in quality-related activities within aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environments will be considered a plus.
Strong interest in developing a career in Supplier Quality and Aerospace Manufacturing.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a standard office and manufacturing environment.

Occasional travel to supplier facilities may be required.
Ability to work in manufacturing and inspection areas while complying with applicable safety requirements.
