Strategy Director
About the Role
As a Director of Strategy, Paid Social, you’ll lead full-funnel paid social media campaigns that drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and high-value product launches across enterprise accounts (such as telecom and tech lines of business), acting as a senior domain expert driving large-scale programs and managing high-performing teams. Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Design and execute full-funnel paid social roadmaps across Meta, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X, and emerging channels to achieve client revenue and audience targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with creative, analytics, and product development teams to optimize creative variations, target audience preferences, and landing page performance.
Client & Business Growth: Lead executive-level presentations, foster high-value client relationships, and drive organic and new business scoping efforts.
Team Management & Development: Lead, coach, and scale internal strategists, digital marketers, and media buyers—setting best practices for campaign trafficking and execution.
Reporting & Optimization: Deliver clear performance reporting on traffic, user engagement, and attribution metrics, transforming raw data into actionable strategy recommendations.
Emerging Tech & Compliance: Leverage AI and automation to scale campaign efficiency while ensuring strict adherence to data privacy regulations and brand safety guidelines.
About You
The essentials:
Experience: 8+ years of digital marketing and paid social strategy experience working with enterprise brands (telecom, tech, or high-consideration lines of business preferred).
Platform Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of major social platforms and ad managers (Meta Ads Manager, YouTube/Google Ads, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and successfully driving large-scale strategic initiatives.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to dissect complex datasets to identify audience insights, optimize user engagement, and prove marketing ROI.
Communication Skills: Outstanding presentation, client-facing, and executive stakeholder management abilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range:
$135,000—$155,000 USD
