Staff Data Analyst
About the role
Remote in EU, or hybrid in Barcelona, Palma, Dublin, or London.
Own analytics across the customer side of a global travel marketplace, from enterprise partners to self-service APIs.
You'll be the first dedicated analytics owner for this entire business area, working directly with senior Product, Engineering, and commercial leaders. You'll influence what gets measured, which opportunities deserve attention, and how data informs product and business decisions.
Your scope covers everything from understanding the performance of major enterprise partners to how smaller businesses adopt our APIs and start selling travel. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on analytics engineering, taking ideas from business questions through to data products that people actually use.
You'll also join while we're building out our data organisation. With fragmented reporting and limited product experimentation today, there's a real opportunity to introduce better analytics, establish trusted data, and help build how the function operates.
What makes it interesting for you:
You can move extremely fast. There's little red tape, decisions happen quickly, and something you build on Monday can be driving business decisions by Friday.
You'll bring new product analytics capabilities to the business. From understanding customer behaviour to introducing experimentation, you'll help teams understand what actually drives adoption and growth.
You'll work on complex marketplace data. Booking performance, API usage, and customer activity sit across different products and systems, with fragmented hotel supply underneath. Connecting these into reliable analytics requires real technical and business judgment.
The kind of problems you’ll work on:
How do we build a reliable view of booking and product performance when different teams' dashboards show conflicting numbers?
Where do self-service customers get stuck between creating an API key and making their first booking, and how do we improve conversion?
How do we introduce experimentation to understand which product changes actually drive adoption, conversion, and growth?
You’ll work on problems where the product, technical approach, and best path forward are still being figured out.
The role is backend-heavy and product-driven. You should be comfortable going from idea to design, implementation, and real usage, without needing detailed specs.
A good way to think of it is: you build the first version that proves something works.
This role fits if you:
Have worked closely with senior Product or business leaders, challenging assumptions, explaining complex findings, and influencing decisions.
Have worked in startups or scaleups where priorities change quickly, ownership is broad, and you're expected to deliver with limited structure.
Can design and validate dbt models, data pipelines, and analytical products end to end, using AI coding agents to move quickly without compromising quality.
Have owned substantial analytics work independently and can connect individual projects to wider product and business priorities.
Understand how data connects to product behaviour, customer needs, and commercial outcomes.
Experience with product analytics and experimentation would be particularly valuable, as would a background in marketplaces or platform businesses.
Nuitée moves quickly, has little process, and gives people a lot of room to make decisions. You'll do well here if ambiguity does not slow you down, you like going deep into difficult problems, and you want to be accountable for what your work actually delivers.
If this sounds like your kind of data role, we'd love to hear from you. You can apply with your LinkedIn profile or CV. The process is straightforward, with an initial conversation followed by two interviews.
